Join the Liberty Lake Parks and Recreation Department, the Liberty Lake Public Works Department, and International Society of Arboriculture master arborist Dan Maus for an informative -- and hands-on -- Tree Planting Workshop on Saturday, April 18, at Pavillion Park. This free event is happening just a few days ahead of Arbor Day, which is on April 24.
Dan will lead off the April 18 workshop with a 20- to 30-minute instructional presentation at the northwest corner of the park in which he will share details about the best practices for planting trees. Following his talk, attendees will get the chance to plant a tree at Pavillion Park. (So, be sure to BRING YOUR WORK GLOVES!) The entire workshop is expected to last 90 to 120 minutes.
Pre-registration IS REQUIRED for this free event ... since this will help determine how many new trees to have there! To register ahead of time, CLICK HERE and select the "Adult Rec Programs" tab.
